• Made in Japan, the Asahi Trainer 2 is the brand's 1970s running model, constructed using a combination of cow suede and fine mesh. Drawing from their experience in producing footwear for major labels throughout the 70's and 80's, Asahi utilizes time-tested manufacturing methods to produce their line of modern day trainers. The shoes are constructed using leather/poly-mesh uppers, EVA cushioned midsoles, and sit atop hard compound rubber outsoles. Finished with subtle branding at the tongue.
